YTEPP Limited is partnering with Pennywise Cosmetics Limited to deliver training in Online Facilitation to 60 Special Needs Teachers, under the Private Special Schools Association of Trinidad and Tobago (PSSATT).
According to a release from YTEPP, the goal is to enhance the quality of online learning for youth with special needs, by upskilling teachers in the effective use of technology platforms to enhance the online learning of special needs youth across the country.
On Monday 26th July 2021, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between YTEPP Limited, Pennywise Cosmetics Limited and the Private Special Schools Association of Trinidad and Tobago for a partnership that would see teachers benefiting from a $15,000 donation from Pennywise for YTEPP’s training programme “Online Facilitation”.
“Pennywise’s goal is to positively impact communities across the country and partnering with YTEPP is in keeping with achieving this goal,” said Satyam Paladee, one of the Directors of Pennywise Cosmetics Limited, at the signing of the MoU.
Chief Executive Officer of YTEPP, Nigel Parris, hailed the generosity and altruistic nature of Pennywise and expressed his gratitude for the confidence the company had in YTEPP’s thrust towards youth with special needs.
“We are able to adapt to an ever-changing environment to meet the needs of youth and we continue our thrust in forming key partnerships to assist us in youth development, community by community,” Parris noted.
Also present for the MoU signing was Ms. Thora Best, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YTEPP Limited and Ms. Phillis Griffith, President of the Private Special Schools Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
