Ath­let­ic Club Port-of-Spain (AC PoS) will be con­fi­dent of main­tain­ing their four-point lead at the top of the T&T Women’s League Foot­ball (WoLF) Trinidad Group stand­ings when they meet the youth­ful Trend­set­ter Hawks at NUGFW Ground, Val­sayn, from 4 pm on Sun­day.

AC PoS will en­ter the match as lead­ers of the sev­en-club Trinidad Group with 29 from 11 match­es, four clear of the Uni­ver­si­ty of T&T, while de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons Club San­do are third with 19 points from ten match­es, and Trend­set­ter Hawks are fourth with 15 points and will be con­fi­dent of pick­ing up an­oth­er win as they con­tin­ue their march to­wards se­cur­ing one of the two qual­i­fi­ca­tion spots avail­able to the na­tion­al play­offs, which will al­so com­prise the top two teams from To­ba­go.

At the Man­nie Ramjohn Sta­di­um, Mara­bel­la, Club San­do hosts Ath­let­ic Int’l Acad­e­my, while T&T Po­lice FC en­ter­tains Point Pi­o­neers FC at the Ken Cooke Ground, St James, both from 4 pm.

Over in To­ba­go at the Mt Grace Recre­ation Ground, lead­ers Jew­els SC, boost­ed by their 8-0 thump­ing of Com­bined Ballerz, face Black Pan­thers from 3 pm, fol­lowed by To­ba­go Chi­cas against Com­bined Ballerz from 5 pm.

Jew­els SC cur­rent­ly lead the four-team ta­ble with 26 points from 11 match­es, six more than To­ba­go Chi­cas, while Black Pan­thers sit in the third spot with 12 points.
