ST JOHN’S, Antigua – The Antigua and Barbuda Cricket Association has announced a formidable 14-member squad for the upcoming Leeward Islands T20 (LIT20) Cricket Festival, set to take place from May 31 to June 8, 2025, at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium.
Led by West Indies all-rounder Rahkeem Cornwall, with Leeward Islands Thunder captain Karima Gore as vice-captain, the team boasts a mix of seasoned international players and exciting young talent.
Among the key names are West Indies leg-spinner Hayden Walsh Jr and CWI Breakout League MVP Kofi James, alongside rising stars like Micah McKenzie, the highest wicket-taker in the Breakout League, who earns his maiden senior call-up along with D’Ahri Francis, Jedidiah Martin, and Bartlette Henry.
The LIT20 Cricket Festival will feature six teams: Antigua & Barbuda, St Kitts, Nevis, Anguilla, Combined Islands (St. Maarten & Montserrat), and the Virgin Islands (British & U.S.).
Antigua and Barbuda will open their campaign against St. Kitts on May 31.
