Phase I of renovations on the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Tobago resumed on Friday. This was confirmed by Project Manager UDeCOTT (Urban Development Company of Trinidad and Tobago).
Contractors have begun the hydro-blasting process and removal of roofing structure. Plumbing repairs, which includes assessment and repair of the sewer system, will start today together with electrical upgrades. The works are expected to be completed by the end of September.
The procurement process for Phase II of renovations is underway and the works for Phase II is scheduled for completion at year’s end. The scope includes; plumbing works, air conditioning, elevator, signage/scoreboard and the Mondo Track Maintenance.
