Jabloteh and the University of the T&T (UTT) claimed the Championship Division League, and Premiership Division Steve Sarjeant Challenge Knockout titles in the Courts All Sectors Netball League at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena, Orange Grove Road, Tacarigua, on Saturday.
Going into their top-of-the-table final match of the eight-team round-robin series against TTPost, Jabloteh led the standings with a 7-0 record, and 14 points, two ahead of TTPost (6-1).
At the end of the first period, TTPost, which needed to win for any chance at the title, held a narrow 9-7 lead.
However, in the second period, Jabloteh managed to edge ahead 17-16 after they outscored their opponents 9-7 in the second period.
The third period was another closely fought period, with TTPost managing to pip their rivals 9-8 to level the match at 25-all to set up an interesting final period.
And in the final quarter, Jabloteh held their nerve to take the title 33-31 after winning the hard-fought final quarter 8-6.
Leading the way for Jabloteh was Giselle Hobson with 17 goals from 24 attempts, and LaToya Thomas with 14 goals from 19 attempts, while Samantha James-Lewis chipped in with two from four.
On the other end of the court, TTPost got a team-high 22 goals from 29 attempts from Nekesha Gomes, with Sukurah Morgan chipping in with six from 15 attempts, and Crystal Jones three of four in the loss.
With the win, Jabloteh ended the campaign with a perfect 8-0 record and 16 points, while TTPost, which won the Fast5 title earlier in the week, had to settle for the runners-up spot with a 6-2 record and 12 points, with MIC Tigers, third with ten points, and a 5-2 record.
Meanwhile, UTT made it three titles out of three in the Premiership Division when they dominated MIC Tigers 44-15 in the Steve Sarjeant Challenge Knockout final.
National shooter Kalifa Mc Collin-Lopez was in inspiring form for UTT with 29 goals from 32 attempts, and she got good support from Shaniya Morgan with 12 from 19, and Chantael Perry with a perfect three from three as they added to their Fast5 and Premier Division league crowns.
In the semifinals, UTT crushed Police 51-9 and MIC Tigers defeated Defence Force 36-21.
