K'Cey Reid scored a pair of goals as Jew­els SC whipped de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons Trend­set­ter Hawks 3-1 in their T&T Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (TTFA) G-League 'Big Eight' Un­der-15 quar­ter­fi­nal at the Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies Rug­by Field in St Au­gus­tine on Mon­day.

Az­izi Clarke added the oth­er goal for Jew­els SC while Amaris Collins-Joseph got the lone re­ply for last year's win­ners Hawks.

In the semi­fi­nals on Sat­ur­day at the same venue from 1.15 pm, Jew­els SC faces Cox Foot­ball Acad­e­my af­ter the lat­ter blanked Point Pi­o­neers 3-0 in their quar­ter­fi­nal on Sun­day, led by two goals from She­ma­iah Tou­s­saint and one from Jor­dyn Bai­ley.

In the first U-15 semi­fi­nal from 11.45 am, Pro Se­ries Blue tack­les Le­gions FA. This was af­ter Pro Se­ries Blue got a lone strike from Arielle An­drews to edge Black Pan­thers 1-0 while Le­gions FA got the bet­ter of To­ba­go Chi­cas 3-1 on penal­ty kicks af­ter a 1-1 draw in reg­u­la­tion time.

How­ev­er, in the G-League U-13 age-group, ti­tle-hold­ers Le­gions FA stayed on course to re­tain their ti­tle af­ter a 3-1 penal­ty-kick tri­umph against To­ba­go Chi­cas in their quar­ter­fi­nal fol­low­ing a 1-1 draw.

Up next for Le­gions FA in the semi­fi­nals is a clash against an­oth­er To­ba­go club, Black Pan­thers, who de­feat­ed Moru­ga FC 2-0 in their last-eight clash with goals from Adrielle De Suze and Kaiya Pri­ma.

The oth­er U-13 semi­fi­nal will fea­ture Jew­els SC and Cox Foot­ball Acad­e­my, af­ter their con­trast­ing quar­ter­fi­nal wins over Pro Se­ries and Point Pi­o­neers, re­spec­tive­ly.

Pro Se­ries got a goal each from Az­izi Clarke and Marka­da Grant in a 2-0 de­feat of Pro Se­ries, while Is­abel Tou­s­saint fired in a hat-trick, and Dylian Pan­teau scored the oth­er for Cox Foot­ball Acad­e­my to beat Point Pi­o­neers 4-2, with Ama­rah Men­doza and Han­nah-Marie Nichols scor­ing for the losers.

Fol­low­ing Sat­ur­day's semi­fi­nals, the third-place play­offs and fi­nal will be held at the same venue on Sun­day from 9 am.
