Trinidad and To­ba­go's 200-me­tres run­ner Jereem Richards has won his se­mi-fi­nal race to qual­i­fy for to­mor­row's fi­nal.

Richards ran in Lane 5 in Se­mi-Fi­nal 3 time of 20.40 sec­onds, the sec­ond fastest of all the semi­fi­nal run­ners.

Dwight St Hillaire ran in Se­mi-Fi­nal 2 and fin­ished 3rd in a time of 20.95, run­ning in Lane 7, miss­ing out on a place in the fi­nal.

Kyle Greaux was in Lane 4 in Se­mi-Fi­nal 1, fin­ish­ing 4th in 20.91, al­so miss­ing out on a place in the fi­nal.
