?Night time is usually quiet at Pigeon Point Heritage Park in Tobago but on Carnival Friday, this changed when the fifth annual International Water Fete was held, with excitement being maintained at an all time high. The live performances started around 2.45 am, much to the disappointment of many. Tobago Soca Monarch queen Fire Empress (lead singer for Fire Fusion,) was the first to hit the stage. She sang a few songs but failed to encourage the crowd into any dancing or waving activities. Her backup reggae dancer brought some life to the performance and taught the crowd a new dance called "Facebook."
Fashion Police, who had been in the Fire Fusion camp for the Carnival season, sang a humourous ditty using the rhythm from Vybz Kartel and Spice's song Virginity. He received numerous encores. The Dynamic Duo of TC Supa Jigga and Iwer George had the crowd in an uproar. Known for his jump and wave songs, Iwer further livened the party by giving away more than $1,000 to a female patron who was able to sing his songs and "mash up" the crowd. Iwer and TC will be performing in St Vincent, Toronto, Queens, NY and Brooklyn on March 5, 6, 13 and 26, respectively.

By the time JW & Blaze got on stage to do the 2010 Road March–Palance, the musical hype was at its peak. Tobago, which was receiving the International Soca Monarch winners for the first time since their crowning a couple hours earlier, was very appreciative. It didn't take much for the duo to get the crowd doing with their popular Palance dance. Also performing on the night were Tony Prescott, Swappi, Buffy and Patch, with DJ music provided by Dr Hyde.
