At a recent PNM meeting, the Minister of Agriculture, Arnold Piggott, talked about all the plans that the Government has in place for the agricultural sector. Piggott took us through the length and breath of the country, and at great pains, to explain what he and the PNM have done for agriculture. Remember he once described himself as the "best Agriculture Minister ever." What was amusing was when he made reference to some of his projects, like the two big mega farms in "both" Chaguaramas and Tucker Valley.
Now I really thought that Tucker Valley was in Chaguaramas, but one never stops learning. Then he proceeded to talk about another project in Bethlehem in Tobago. I never knew there was such a place, as I thought it was called Bethel. What Piggott should do in future is consult with Ralph Maharaj, the emcee on the PNM campaign platform.
Should he have forgotten, I remind him that Maharaj was once the host of the popular and informative television programme Know Your Country.
