The people upset that hundreds of millions of their tax dollars were spent to build and furnish the Prime Minister's residence while nothing was spent to maintain President's House really have not tried to understand the modus operandi of our Prime Minister.
Our Prime Minister believes the executive presidency is a done deal, so we will shortly have no use for a President, far less for a residence for him. Therefore why spend money to repair the roof of a building that will be torn down anyway.
The zoo is to be relocated to the Mayaro area, the Botanic Gardens occupy an open space, and with President's House gone there should be room to accommodate a runway for the private jet. Brian should not get too settled. If his house offers a point where the coming and going of the private jet may be viewed, then that house will also be history.
