The peo­ple up­set that hun­dreds of mil­lions of their tax dol­lars were spent to build and fur­nish the Prime Min­is­ter's res­i­dence while noth­ing was spent to main­tain Pres­i­dent's House re­al­ly have not tried to un­der­stand the modus operan­di of our Prime Min­is­ter.

Our Prime Min­is­ter be­lieves the ex­ec­u­tive pres­i­den­cy is a done deal, so we will short­ly have no use for a Pres­i­dent, far less for a res­i­dence for him. There­fore why spend mon­ey to re­pair the roof of a build­ing that will be torn down any­way.

The zoo is to be re­lo­cat­ed to the Ma­yaro area, the Botan­ic Gar­dens oc­cu­py an open space, and with Pres­i­dent's House gone there should be room to ac­com­mo­date a run­way for the pri­vate jet. Bri­an should not get too set­tled. If his house of­fers a point where the com­ing and go­ing of the pri­vate jet may be viewed, then that house will al­so be his­to­ry.
