There was much fun and fel­low­ship when The Love Move­ment Fam­i­ly host­ed its bi-an­nu­al sports and fam­i­ly day re­cent­ly at the Fa­ti­ma Col­lege Grounds, Mu­cu­rapo.

Com­pris­ing three choirs–The Lights of Love Chil­dren's Choir, The Re­pub­lic Bank Youth Out­reach Group and the Se­nior Choir–mem­bers and their fam­i­lies were placed in­to four teams (The Love Bugs, Ocean of Love, Love­ber­ries, and Love Shines) to com­pete in a day full of nov­el­ty games. The day be­gan with some rain but af­ter a short prayer, praise and wor­ship ses­sion, it stopped and con­di­tions re­mained just right for a most en­joy­able day. To kick-start the day, each group took to the cen­tre field and, do­ing what they are known for, ex­hib­it­ed a mu­si­cal per­for­mance to the de­light of all.

As the games be­gan, The Love Bugs and Ocean of Love seemed to have their eyes set on tak­ing home the chal­lenge tro­phy. Af­ter a gru­elling 28 events the Ocean of Love team rose vic­to­ri­ous, fol­lowed by The Love Bugs. In third and fourth place, re­spec­tive­ly, were Love Shines and Love­ber­ries. The Love Move­ment has ex­tend­ed its ap­pre­ci­a­tion to the Min­istry of Sport and Cul­ture, Re­pub­lic Bank, Fa­ti­ma Col­lege, Sure Pow­er Lim­it­ed, Carib Brew­ery Lim­it­ed, Chi­napoo Mor­vant Po­lice Youth Club and all the mem­bers of the Love Move­ment fam­i­ly who con­tributed to en­sure the event was tru­ly a fun-filled day. The over­all ob­jec­tive was at­tained as the group cre­at­ed an en­vi­ron­ment for its Love Move­ment fam­i­ly to join in the spir­it of fun and fel­low­ship.
