Reigning champion bmobile Joe Public will be fancying its chances to become joint leaders with T&TEC in the bmobile National Super League when it faces Club Sando in a rescheduled match at Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella, from 4 pm, today. The Electricity Boys currently lead the 11-team standings with 21 points from nine matches, one point ahead of former champion, WASA, while defending champion is next with 18 points from nine matches, followed by 1976 Phoenix with 15 points from eight matches.
Public, which had a slow start to the season, being held to draws in its first two matches, has gained momentum as it has won five of its nine matches, dropping just one. Initially, the clash between the defending champion and Club Sando was carded for Wednesday but it was rained out. In their previous match, the Eastern Lions hammered Stokely Vale 7-0 while Club Sando which has not been in action in the last two weeks, will be eager to get something from this match.
