Executive Chairman, Colin Soo Ping Chow of Ernst & Young Caribbean this week announced the that the professional services enterprise had promoted three of its leaders to new positions: Pria Narinesingh; Erick Statius van Eps and Bryan Irausquin.
Pria Narinesingh has been appointed as the new Country Managing Partner (CMP) in Trinidad. Pria is an Assurance Partner who leads the Caribbean firm's financial services sector. Pria has had a distinguished track record over the last twenty-three years serving several of EY's largest and most complex clients. Pria is currently the President of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago, and is an influential industry presence who will undoubtedly continue to drive our firm and profession forward.
Erick Statius van Eps has been appointed as the Regional Service Line Leader of the Assurance Practice. Erick has over twenty-two years' experience, and is the outgoing CMP of Cura�ao and Aruba, a role that he has executed with distinction since 2008. During his tenure, Erick has also worked in EY's Amsterdam and San Francisco offices. In his new role, Erick will lead our Assurance practice as we traverse an ever-changing landscape in the Caribbean. With a commitment founded in quality, Erick continues to motivate our people to start with a better question, to challenge, inspire and unlock the best solution.
Bryan Irausquin succeeds Erick as the CMP of Cura�ao and Aruba. Bryan is a Tax Partner, a member of the Cura�ao task force in charge of Tax Reform, and a Board member of the Cura�ao Chamber of Commerce. Bryan has demonstrated great leadership and been tremendously successful in helping businesses and governments answer their toughest tax questions, including developing tax policies and public strategies in a public-private-partnership approach. Bryan's experience and collaborative approach will continue advancing the Firm to new heights.
