Sud­den­ly every­body is con­cerned about un­der­age chil­dren hav­ing sex and be­com­ing preg­nant.Well, what do we as a peo­ple ex­pect, es­pe­cial­ly dur­ing this Car­ni­val sea­son? We glo­ri­fy De­stra, Fay-Ann and oth­ers win­ing and grind­ing on oth­er men. We have the male artistes gy­rat­ing and per­form­ing "danc­ing acts"–as if they are in their bed­room–on all shapes and sizes of women on stage. And young­sters look up to these artistes as role mod­els.

So peo­ple, check the lyri­cal con­tent of the songs, the dress code and the ac­tions of these artistes and par­ty­go­ers. Add to this mix, the al­co­hol con­sumed by men; and the hor­mon­al is­sues, cu­rios­i­ty and naivety of young girls who look up to these artistes.

Are we re­al­ly sur­prised by the out­come, now?
