Nero wins National Criterium

Gavyn Nero of the Braves Cy­cling Club edged Slip­stream's Marc Co­dring­ton and Jov­ian Gomez of Team DPS to win the Na­tion­al Cri­teri­um at King George V Park in St Clair yes­ter­day. In oth­er cat­e­gories Ak­il Camp­bell took the Ju­nior Men crown, David Tardieu took the Mas­ters 40-49 and Derek De­Gannes won the Mas­ters 50-59.

Among the ju­ve­niles, Ra­mon Bel­montes (Braves) beat Tyler Cole (Son­ics) and Nicholas Paul (Son­ics) for the ti­tle fol­low­ing an ex­cit­ing sprint fin­ish af­ter the top two lapped the bunch.
