I am ab­solute­ly cer­tain if Fi­fa con­ducts a foren­sic au­dit on each of its foot­ball fed­er­a­tions, whether in Asia, Africa, Eu­rope, Caribbean and the Amer­i­c­as or on its own head­quar­ters, each au­dit and re­port will be sub­stan­tial­ly no dif­fer­ent from the re­cent one by Sir Sim­mons.Sepp Blat­ter dare not or­der such au­dits.The rea­son is, and what every­one in the foot­ball world knows, that Fi­fa can be equat­ed with what one loose­ly calls "the mafia."

Fi­fa is a world of in­trigue, wheel­ing and deal­ing–a gov­ern­ment by it­self with its own rules, both on and off the field.As a for­mer PM would say, FI­FA has a "moral­i­ty of its own." The or­di­nary man in the street in T&T and world­wide talk about Fi­fa in those terms every day. It did not be­gin with Jack Warn­er, nor will it end with him. Those as­sem­bled in Pana­ma with white col­lars and dark suits, will be no dif­fer­ent.

Ask An­drew Jen­nings. He said of the Sim­mons Re­port, that it was a "cov­er up." Jack Warn­er must have want­ed to hug him.
