I wish to express my sincerest thanks to Ian Alleyne for visiting us in St Joseph West. Alleyne is truly a man of the people. I have been following him for years while he was on his television show.It was his ability to connect with the people on the ground that allowed me to take to him so well. He appears to genuinely care about the people. I saw that on his show, and I'm seeing that in real life. When he came to our area, everyone could have seen how genuine he was and is.
I pray that he wins this election because for years we have suffered PNM neglect and Mr Volney was too busy with his other commitments it seems. I am confident that Alleyne will deliver in our area.I have been watching the news and the negative feedback from people, but I want to point out that the people who are making the most noise against him are those that already have, those who don't have to worry about their homes flooding, or the mosquitoes, or where they will get work next week.
These people realise that Alleyne's focus is on the poor people who need support, and I think that is why they are so noisy.I have full confidence in Mr Alleyne, and I want to say that St Joseph West will welcome him with open arms!
