Son of the late Oliv­er "Sack­ie" Govia and Ve­ra Fran­co Govia; and beloved broth­er of Bar­ry, Basil "Bing" (dec.), Bren­da Xavier, Bev­er­ley Ser­rao, Bernadette Fran­cis, Bet­ty-lynne Ser­rao, Brid­gette Govia, Bar­bara- Jean Gomes. Broth­er-in-law of Wendy and Rosi­ta Govia, An­tho­ny Xavier, Mar­tin Fran­cis and Julio Ser­rao. Un­cle of 23; great-un­cle of 13; cousin too many. Fu­ner­al to take place in Cana­da on Sat­ur­day, March 10th 2012. In lieu of flow­ers, do­na­tions to the Vi­tas House would be ap­pre­ci­at­ed. A ser­vice in Trinidad will be an­nounced at a lat­er date.
