A po­lice sergeant is ex­pect­ed to ap­pear in the San Fer­nan­do Mag­is­trates' Court to­day charged with two counts of statu­to­ry rape.The of­fi­cer was de­tained over the week­end af­ter a 15 year-old San Fer­nan­do stu­dent re­port­ed that he had sex with her.The 45 year-old of­fi­cer, with 15 years ser­vice, was placed on an iden­ti­fi­ca­tion pa­rades over the week­end.Ac­cord­ing to in­ves­ti­ga­tors the girl told a se­nior court of­fi­cial last week Wednes­day that the of­fi­cer, who had been as­signed to a case in­volv­ing a dis­pute be­tween her and her moth­er, took her out and had sex with her.The in­ci­dent was al­leged to have tak­en place at King's Wharf, San Fer­nan­do.
