Up for grabs on Republic Day is $100,000 in prize money for the finals of the Sangeet Pradarshan talent competition.
Surujdeo Mangaroo, the executive director of NeeLeeJi Events, the organisation hosting the show, said the semifinal rounds saw participants from several countries where the Indian Diaspora settled.
The grand final is carded to take place at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Cultural Cooperation Mt Hope.

The winner would take home the first prize of $50,000 courtesy the Hindi Foundation of T&T Incorporated.
The second prize of $30,000 is sponsored by Parivaar Enterprises Ltd and the third prize of $20,000 is courtesy See-Vu Optical Emporium Ltd.
