A com­mu­ni­ty green­house adds to food sus­tain­abil­i­ty with­in the com­mu­ni­ty. Last Mon­day, the com­mis­sion­ing of the RBC-spon­sored green­house in the vil­lage of Bethel took place.

Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Habi­tat for Hu­man­i­ty TT, as well as vol­un­teers from RBC and the com­mu­ni­ty, worked along­side each oth­er to com­plete the project in four weeks.

Com­mu­ni­ty De­vel­op­ment Sec­re­tary, As­sem­bly­man Ter­ance Baynes, pres­i­dent of the Bethel Vil­lage Coun­cil, Eu­re­na Noel Moore, and Habi­tat for Hu­man­i­ty TT’s na­tion­al di­rec­tor Jen­nifer Mes­si­ah were in at­ten­dance. Mes­si­ah al­so vis­it­ed THA Chief Sec­re­tary Far­ley Au­gus­tine.
