Throughout December, Digicel and the Digicel Foundation brought the holiday spirit to life with a combined $1.7 million investment in Trinidad and Tobago, supporting both festive celebrations and long-term community development.
Under its Christmas Runs on Real Connections campaign, Digicel dedicated $700,000 to prizes and weekly giveaways aimed at turning everyday moments into festive surprises.
A highlight of the season was the Digicel Community Pop-Up Caravan, which journeyed through markets and main roads across both T&T. Accompanied by Santa and his helpers, the caravan shared gifts ranging from groceries to Christmas hams, creating moments of genuine appreciation and connection in local neighbourhoods.
Beyond the seasonal cheer, the Digicel Foundation reinforced its commitment to lasting social impact through its Extraordinary Projects Impacting Communities (EPIC) programme. Partnering with Shell, the Foundation invested $1 million in non-profit organisations working to create sustainable change.
Earlier in December, ten non-profit organisations across T&T each received grants of $100,000 to fund community-based projects aimed at improving education, health, and social development.
The initiative reflects Digicel’s broader belief that the holiday season is not only a time for celebration but also an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Together, the festive giveaways and strategic community investments underscore Digicel’s dual focus: bringing joy to customers while leaving a lasting positive impact across the country.
