Eid Mubarack to all of Trinidad and To­ba­go and more par­tic­u­lar­ly my fam­i­ly and friends who are cel­e­brat­ing Eid-ul-Fitr af­ter ob­serv­ing the holy month of Ra­madan.

Trinidad and To­ba­go re­mains blessed to have such di­verse cul­tures and spir­i­tu­al en­er­gies com­ing to­geth­er dur­ing these past weeks, al­low­ing us all to re­fo­cus on our faith and recom­mit to our na­tion­al watch­words - dis­ci­pline, pro­duc­tion, and tol­er­ance.

I wish to join our Miss World Fran­chise Team in send­ing Eid greet­ings to my Mus­lim sis­ters in the Miss World Pageant, and to all those who are cel­e­brat­ing this aus­pi­cious hol­i­day. May the pos­i­tive en­er­gies of the cel­e­bra­tions re­main with you all year.
