Scat­tered show­ers could not stop Pres­tige IS­SHO, the Car­ni­val fete held this year at Skin­ner Park, San Fer­nan­do, on Sun­day.

Is­sho—which trans­lates from Japan­ese as “to­geth­er”—lived up to its name, blend­ing food, drinks, mu­sic and high-en­er­gy par­ty­ing in­to an eclec­tic ex­pe­ri­ence that left pa­trons want­i­ng more.

The an­nu­al all-in­clu­sive event saw hun­dreds rev­el­ling in the rain as en­ter­tain­ers Ravi B and Kar­ma, Kes The Band, Voice, Full Blown, Mi­cal Te­ja, Bun­ji Gar­lin and Fay-Ann Lyons-Al­varez de­liv­ered adren­a­line-charged per­for­mances. How­ev­er, one of the stand­out mo­ments of the night came from so­ca star Rod­ney “Ben­jai” Le Blanc, who made waves with his re­turn to the stage and had the crowd in the palm of his hands, par­tic­u­lar­ly dur­ing his 2026 col­lab­o­ra­tion with Kes, Car­ni­val Friend.
