Arnim’s Art Galleria, 27 Tragarete Road, Port-of-Spain, transformed on November 18, into an explosion of elegance, colour, fashion, regal pageantry and finesse with social supremacy and fine art, when Lisa Faye presented her Christmas collection titled Caribbean Luxury, during her solo art exhibition, Imagine, that ran from November 11 to the 25.
Art and fashion lovers witnessed eight high-tiered models do justice to each flowing, hand-died, silk, lounge apparel where art in motion streamed across the very close-spaced White Carpet.
Models included: the first coloured Miss Universe, T&T’s Janelle Penny Commissiong, 1977; T&T’s first Miss World, Giselle LaRonde-West 1986; Faye’s daughter, Amaya Alleyne; Miss World TT 2012, Athaliah Samuel; first runner-up Miss World 2022, Dania Duntin; Miss T&T Universe 2012, Avionne Mark; Bri Savannah; and Jen Ruth.
Among guests in attendance were: economist Dr Marlene Attzs, international stylists Richard Young and Crystal Ivy, wife of T&T’s Prime Minister, Sharon Rowley, Miss Universe 1988 Wendy Fitzwilliam, chairman TT Cancer Society Asanti Le Blanc, Yvonne Popplewell, Lisa Ghany, Faye’s mother, Hetty Sargeant, husband, Rudd Gonzales, and sister, Dr Sonia Telfer.
