Parish­ioners from the St Philip and St James RC Church re­cent­ly host­ed their an­nu­al Parish Har­vest at the church com­pound in Ch­agua­nas.

The fes­tiv­i­ties be­gan soon af­ter the morn­ing Mass with Fa­ther Steve Ran­some con­duct­ing the tra­di­tion­al bless­ing of the stalls.

Then it was on to the usu­al fes­tiv­i­ties, with a va­ri­ety of ac­tiv­i­ty op­tions for parish­ioners and pa­trons alike. There were the usu­al crowd favourites, in­clud­ing Hoopla, Spin to Win, Tin Pan Al­ley and the plant and food stalls.

There were al­so the added at­trac­tions of the home­made wine class and Sip and Paint for those who sought to learn some­thing dur­ing the day.

The chil­dren were not left out ei­ther, with face paint­ing, Game Haven and the ever-pop­u­lar boun­cy cas­tle keep­ing them busy through­out the day.

In the end, it was a fun-filled fam­i­ly day for all.
