The St Philip and St James RC Church staged its fourth an­nu­al Fam­i­ly Day at Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege, Ch­agua­nas, on East­er Mon­day.

The event is host­ed an­nu­al­ly by Fa­ther Steve Ran­some as one of the ac­tiv­i­ties mark­ing the cul­mi­na­tion of the East­er and Lenten fes­tiv­i­ties. Al­so used as a com­mu­ni­ty builder in the parish, the event has been grow­ing since its in­cep­tion.

Parish­ioners came out in their num­bers and par­tic­i­pat­ed in a num­ber of fun events, in­clud­ing sip and paint, a karaoke com­pe­ti­tion, a kite fly­ing com­pe­ti­tion, East­er Bon­net Pa­rade, ta­ble ten­nis, foot­ball, tug-of-war, and a range of board games.
