Travellers heading to Jamaica for the ‘The Biggest Reggae Music Festival on Earth’ can now fly from Trinidad and Tobago to Montego Bay with Caribbean Airlines.

The presenting sponsor of Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica will offer special flights between both destinations, with other connections.

Caribbean Airlines CEO Garvin Medera expressed his enthusiasm about the airline’s role as the presenting sponsor.

“We are happy to be the presenting sponsor of Reggae Sumfest, an event that represents the spirit of reggae music,” he said.

“This festival showcases the rich diversity of our music and culture, and we are proud to play a part in making it even more accessible to music lovers from across the region and beyond with these special services. These flights will provide convenient and direct transportation to Reggae Sumfest, ensuring that fans can immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival.”

In April, CAL announced its partnership, which will extend for the next two years and will be prominently showcased through a special decal on one of Caribbean Airlines’ new Boeing 737-8 aircraft.

“The installation of the Reggae Sumfest 30th anniversary logo on CAL’s 737 is a matter of pride for us as it will announce our partnership at all gateways the jet enters and celebrate an important element of regional unity,” said Reggae Sumfest promoter Joe Bognadovish (in April).

“I firmly believe that music is the great unifier. The rhythms of dancehall, reggae and soca have blended over the years as our artistes collaborate in a range of creative endeavours. Reggae Sumfest has increasingly invited soca artistes to perform on our stage and I am aware of the popularity of our artistes in the rest of the Caribbean and the world. Thanks to Caribbean Airlines for reviving the partnership for another two years. We hope that this signals many more years of creative collaboration.”

Reggae Sumfest is a celebration of Caribbean music, artistes, and culture.

This internationally acclaimed festival provides Caribbean artistes with a global platform to showcase their talent on the grandest stage.
