Caribbean Air­lines has once again walked away with the best air­line staff in Cen­tral Amer­i­ca/Caribbean 2024 award from UK rat­ings agency Sky­trax. The an­nounce­ment was made yes­ter­day at the World Air­line Awards held at Fair­mont Wind­sor Park in the Unit­ed King­dom.

Of­ten called the ‘Os­cars of the avi­a­tion in­dus­try’, the World Air­line Awards is a glob­al pas­sen­ger sat­is­fac­tion sur­vey that so­lic­its feed­back from over 100 cus­tomer na­tion­al­i­ties. This is the sec­ond year in a row that Caribbean Air­lines has won the award.

Qatar Air­ways beat out over 350 air­lines to be vot­ed the world’s best air­line, as well as the world’s best busi­ness class, the world’s best busi­ness class lounge and the best air­line in the Mid­dle East.

Pana­ma-based Co­pa Air­lines won best re­gion­al air­line in Cen­tral Amer­i­ca/Caribbean with Ba­hama­sair and Turks and Caicos-based air­line in­ter­Caribbean com­ing in sec­ond and third re­spec­tive­ly.

Caribbean Air­lines did not make the top five in that cat­e­go­ry.

Co­pa Air­lines al­so walked away with the best air­line in Cen­tral Amer­i­ca/Caribbean ti­tle. Caribbean Air­lines placed sec­ond in that cat­e­go­ry, with Guade­loupe-based car­ri­er Air Caraibes round­ing out the top three.

Be­ing recog­nised by our pas­sen­gers and in­dus­try peers as the best in staff ser­vice is a sig­nif­i­cant ho­n­our, and it fu­els our com­mit­ment to con­tin­ue ex­ceed­ing our cus­tomers’ ex­pec­ta­tions.”
