ANSA McAL’s group CEO, Anthony N. Sabga III, has announced the appointment of Craig La Croix as managing director of ANSA McAL Chemicals Ltd, effective June 1. In his new role he will have a direct reporting line to the sector head, chemicals.
In a news release, Sabga said that since 2005, La Croix has been an integral part of the ANSA McAL Group making significant contributions over the years.
With his extensive experience and leadership qualities he has held several key positions in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
His major roles incorporated engineering and maintenance manager; general manager, projects and AC division; general manager at Bestcrete; managing director at Abel Building Solutions, culminating as head of innovation and continuous excellence.
With over 25 years of experience as a mechanical engineer, Craig has served as a director of Penta, Abel Building Solutions, TOMCO, the T&T Manufacturers Association and the T&T Contractors Association.
Currently, he serves as a director of Berger Paints Jamaica Ltd.
Craig is the holder of a BSc with honours from the St Augustine campus of The University of the West Indies and has been actively involved overseeing manufacturing operations and driving both greenfield and brownfield projects to success.
