ANSA McAL’s group CEO, An­tho­ny N. Sab­ga III, has an­nounced the ap­point­ment of Craig La Croix as man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of ANSA McAL Chem­i­cals Ltd, ef­fec­tive June 1. In his new role he will have a di­rect re­port­ing line to the sec­tor head, chem­i­cals.

In a news re­lease, Sab­ga said that since 2005, La Croix has been an in­te­gral part of the ANSA McAL Group mak­ing sig­nif­i­cant con­tri­bu­tions over the years.

With his ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence and lead­er­ship qual­i­ties he has held sev­er­al key po­si­tions in the con­struc­tion and man­u­fac­tur­ing sec­tors.

His ma­jor roles in­cor­po­rat­ed en­gi­neer­ing and main­te­nance man­ag­er; gen­er­al man­ag­er, projects and AC di­vi­sion; gen­er­al man­ag­er at Best­crete; man­ag­ing di­rec­tor at Abel Build­ing So­lu­tions, cul­mi­nat­ing as head of in­no­va­tion and con­tin­u­ous ex­cel­lence.

With over 25 years of ex­pe­ri­ence as a me­chan­i­cal en­gi­neer, Craig has served as a di­rec­tor of Pen­ta, Abel Build­ing So­lu­tions, TOM­CO, the T&T Man­u­fac­tur­ers As­so­ci­a­tion and the T&T Con­trac­tors As­so­ci­a­tion.

Cur­rent­ly, he serves as a di­rec­tor of Berg­er Paints Ja­maica Ltd.

Craig is the hold­er of a BSc with ho­n­ours from the St Au­gus­tine cam­pus of The Uni­ver­si­ty of the West In­dies and has been ac­tive­ly in­volved over­see­ing man­u­fac­tur­ing op­er­a­tions and dri­ving both green­field and brown­field projects to suc­cess.
