RBC Roy­al Bank is deep­en­ing its com­mit­ment to To­ba­go by the re­cent open­ing of a ded­i­cat­ed busi­ness bank­ing of­fice at the bank’s Scar­bor­ough lo­ca­tion.

In a state­ment, the bank said this event marked an im­por­tant mile­stone in RBC’s con­tin­ued in­vest­ment in T&T.

Speak­ing at the of­fice’s open­ing, RBC’s vice pres­i­dent of Busi­ness Bank­ing, Marc Jar­dine, em­pha­sised the bank’s be­lief in the unique and grow­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties in To­ba­go and al­so reaf­firmed RBC’s com­mit­ment to this coun­try.

“We recog­nise that To­ba­go is a thriv­ing mar­ket with a unique set of needs and grow­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties.

“We be­lieve that our ex­pand­ed pres­ence will serve to en­hance and sup­port the fi­nan­cial land­scape of this beau­ti­ful is­land. This of­fice will pro­vide our busi­ness bank­ing clients ac­cess to sea­soned ex­perts, who are com­mit­ted to work­ing close­ly with busi­ness­es and en­tre­pre­neurs here in To­ba­go, to iden­ti­fy the most ap­pro­pri­ate fi­nan­cial so­lu­tions to help their busi­ness­es flour­ish,” Jar­dine said.

At­tor­ney Mar­tin George, who al­so spoke at the open­ing, ex­pressed his ex­cite­ment about RBC’s busi­ness bank­ing in the To­ba­go mar­ket as he gave a per­son­al ac­count.

“From a young age, I was ex­posed to the world of fi­nance with RBC. The close re­la­tion­ship I de­vel­oped with RBC turned out to be the start of a life les­son in learn­ing busi­ness and bank­ing. RBC helped form the foun­da­tion for my busi­ness,” George said.

The of­fice will be staffed with a re­la­tion­ship man­ag­er, busi­ness so­lu­tions man­ag­er and busi­ness

elec­tron­ics sales spe­cial­ist, who will pro­vide phys­i­cal sup­port to RBC’s clients in To­ba­go.

RBC al­so added that it re­mains com­mit­ted to en­hanc­ing and sup­port­ing the fi­nan­cial land­scape of both is­lands, while en­sur­ing it con­tin­ues to meet and ex­ceed the needs of its clients, by pro­vid­ing the best and most

in­no­v­a­tive fi­nan­cial ser­vices and re­sources for busi­ness­es and in­di­vid­u­als alike.

The busi­ness bank­ing of­fice is lo­cat­ed on the sec­ond floor of the Scar­bor­ough branch.

The of­fice hours are Mon­day to Fri­day from 8 am to 4 pm.
