RBC Royal Bank is deepening its commitment to Tobago by the recent opening of a dedicated business banking office at the bank’s Scarborough location.
In a statement, the bank said this event marked an important milestone in RBC’s continued investment in T&T.
Speaking at the office’s opening, RBC’s vice president of Business Banking, Marc Jardine, emphasised the bank’s belief in the unique and growing opportunities in Tobago and also reaffirmed RBC’s commitment to this country.
“We recognise that Tobago is a thriving market with a unique set of needs and growing opportunities.
“We believe that our expanded presence will serve to enhance and support the financial landscape of this beautiful island. This office will provide our business banking clients access to seasoned experts, who are committed to working closely with businesses and entrepreneurs here in Tobago, to identify the most appropriate financial solutions to help their businesses flourish,” Jardine said.
Attorney Martin George, who also spoke at the opening, expressed his excitement about RBC’s business banking in the Tobago market as he gave a personal account.
“From a young age, I was exposed to the world of finance with RBC. The close relationship I developed with RBC turned out to be the start of a life lesson in learning business and banking. RBC helped form the foundation for my business,” George said.
The office will be staffed with a relationship manager, business solutions manager and business
electronics sales specialist, who will provide physical support to RBC’s clients in Tobago.
RBC also added that it remains committed to enhancing and supporting the financial landscape of both islands, while ensuring it continues to meet and exceed the needs of its clients, by providing the best and most
innovative financial services and resources for businesses and individuals alike.
The business banking office is located on the second floor of the Scarborough branch.
The office hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
