Po­lice have ar­rest­ed 10 per­sons in the North­ern Di­vi­sion af­ter drugs, weapons, and am­mu­ni­tion were seized dur­ing an­ti-crime ex­er­cis­es.

Ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports, of­fi­cers seized 43 rounds of am­mu­ni­tion, two pis­tols, one ri­fle, a pair of katanas (swords), and 989 grams of mar­i­jua­na. Two of the ar­rest­ed were held on in­quiries re­lat­ing to house­break­ing and lar­ce­ny.

Of the two sus­pects, a 16-year-old was de­tained based on ev­i­dence gained by fin­ger­print­ing analy­sis. Two more were ar­rest­ed for pos­ses­sion of firearms and am­mu­ni­tion while an­oth­er was de­tained for pos­ses­sion of an of­fen­sive weapon. Per­sons were al­so de­tained for en­quiries in­to shoot­ing in­ci­dents and mar­i­jua­na. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing.
