This country’s Supreme Court of Judicature recently admitted 12 new Puisne Judges to its ranks.
A release from the Office of the President reports that Her Excellency Paula-Mae Weekes ORTT administered the Oath of Office to the 12 people selected as Puisne Judges, at The President's House on Thursday, December 1.

The new judges are Ms Nalini Singh, Mr. George Busby, Mrs. Jade Rodriguez, Mrs. Mauriceia Joseph, Ms Gillian Scotland, Mrs. Sherene Murray-Bailey, Mrs. Nirala Bansee-Sookhai, Ms Karen Reid, Mrs. Halcyon Yorke-Young, Mrs. Tricia Hudlin-Cooper, Mrs. Linda Khan, and Mrs. Delisa Noel Christopher.
Also present at the ceremony was Chief Justice, Mr. Justice Ivor Archie ORTT.

The Supreme Court of Judicature of Trinidad and Tobago is made up of The Court of Appeal and the High Court, as is provided under section 99 of the Constitution which states:
“There shall be a Supreme Court of Trinidad and Tobago consisting of a High Court and a Court of Appeal with such jurisdiction and powers as conferred on these Courts respectively by this Constitution or any other law.”
