T&T record­ed two more mur­ders on Fri­day night.

The man who was killed in Diego Mar­tin on Fri­day night has been iden­ti­fied as An­ton Richards.

Po­lice said at around 10 pm, he was lim­ing with a group of friends near the Riv­er Es­tate Bas­ket­ball Court, when a Nis­san Wingroad pulled up along­side them. Two men in the car opened fire, hit­ting him sev­er­al times.

The ve­hi­cle then drove off. Richards died on the scene.

In a sep­a­rate in­ci­dent, a 34-year-old man was shot to death in San­ta Cruz on Fri­day night. Po­lice iden­ti­fied him as Joseph Pierre.

Re­ports stat­ed that at about 7.45 pm, Pierre was with friends out­side a min­i­mart along Pi­p­i­ol Cir­cu­lar Road when they were am­bushed by gun­men.

Pierre and an­oth­er man, aged 32, were shot sev­er­al times. Pierre died on the scene, while the oth­er man was tak­en to the Er­ic Williams Med­ical Sci­ences Com­plex, where he was treat­ed and ward­ed in a se­ri­ous con­di­tion up to late yes­ter­day.
