36 hospitalised with COVID-19

Just 36 peo­ple are cur­rent­ly in the net­work of hos­pi­tals and step-down fa­cil­i­ties for COVID-19, down from 55, as of yes­ter­day’s week­ly up­date from the Min­istry of Health.

The to­tal num­ber of peo­ple cur­rent­ly ac­tive­ly in­fect­ed al­so de­creased to 375.

Un­for­tu­nate­ly, six peo­ple lost their lives to the dis­ease be­tween Oc­to­ber 26 and No­vem­ber 1.

These were an el­der­ly male, three el­der­ly fe­males and two mid­dle-aged males. This brings the to­tal num­ber of COVID-19-re­lat­ed deaths to 4,255.

Over the same pe­ri­od, the min­istry con­firmed 141 new cas­es, down from last week’s 189.
