If some­one wins tonight’s Lot­to Plus Jack­pot, es­ti­mat­ed at $21 mil­lion, they will walk away with the third high­est jack­pot won in its his­to­ry.

The NL­CB yes­ter­day con­firmed the largest jack­pot paid out was $31.9 mil­lion on No­vem­ber 11, 2015. The sec­ond high­est jack­pot was $28.1 mil­lion, won in March 2018. The cur­rent third high­est jack­pot was won in May 2013 - $20.4 mil­lion.

There’s a long­stand­ing be­lief in T&T that when the Lot­to Plus jack­pot builds to the cur­rent lev­el, it’s al­ways won by some­one in south.

The high­est ever win­ning tick­ets were pur­chased at Ronald Lot­to Shop in Cara­paich­ma, Home­town Phar­ma­cy in Ari­ma, Kam­la’s Dou­bles Cen­tre in St Madeleine, Khan’s Lot­to booth in Diego Mar­tin and Car­los Lot­to Bar in Princes Town. On­ly four out of the top ten win­ning pur­chas­es were made in south Trinidad.
