This will be held at the Bri­an Lara Sta­di­um be­tween Au­gust 3rd -7th 2022.

Southex Trade Shows and Pro­mo­tions in part­ner­ship with the Trinidad &To­ba­go Cham­ber of In­dus­try and Com­merce, the George­town Cham­ber of Com­merce and In­dus­try and the Su­per­mar­ket As­so­ci­a­tion of Trinidad &To­ba­go will present the ‘Agri­cul­ture & Food Ex­po – Our Life, Our Busi­ness’ in Au­gust at the Bri­an Lara Sta­di­um in South Trinidad.

The ‘Agri­cul­ture & Food Ex­po – Our Life, Our Busi­ness’ will be the largest un­der­tak­ing for the sec­tor in more than 20 years.

The event will fo­cus on –

♦Em­pow­er­ing Stake­hold­ers
♦Ex­pand­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties in Agri Busi­ness
♦Peo­ple Cen­tred De­vel­op­ment
♦Pover­ty Re­duc­tion
♦Food Se­cu­ri­ty

The event will be held from 3rd-7th Au­gust and the Bri­an Lara Sta­di­um will be the per­fect set­ting as the ex­po caters to all as­pects of the Agri­cul­tur­al &Food In­dus­try. The ex­hi­bi­tion will al­so show­case all as­pects of the in­dus­try’s op­er­a­tions, and its con­tri­bu­tion to Na­tion­al, re­gion­al and world stage goals for the sec­tor’s con­tin­ued de­vel­op­ment.

The 5-day event will fea­ture a host of ac­tiv­i­ties all geared to at­tract­ing large crowds. Some of the fea­tures will in­clude –

It is our hope that through this event we will be able to raise the aware­ness of the busi­ness mod­els and in­no­va­tions in agri­cul­ture to­geth­er with pro­vid­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties for link­ages among the cur­rent and fu­ture stake­hold­ers with­in the agri­cul­tur­al in­dus­try.

We hope to be able to fa­cil­i­tate the pro­mo­tion of sus­tain­able prac­tices in Agri­cul­ture, forestry, and fish­eries, while al­so demon­strat­ing our culi­nary di­ver­si­ty and in­form on the nu­tri­tion­al and health ben­e­fits of us­ing our lo­cal pro­duce.
