Another system is developing in the Atlantic with an 80 percent chance of cyclonic activity within the next two days.
The National Hurricane Centre (NHC) in Miami says that shower and thunderstorm activity associated with a low-pressure system continues to show signs of organization.
It says a tropical depression is expected to form during the next day or so while the system moves generally northwestward across the eastern tropical Atlantic Ocean.
The system is located about 300 miles west of the Cabo Verde Islands.
Apart from an 80 percent chance of formation in the next 48 hours, the NHC also gives the system a 90 percent chance of development over five days.
