ANSA Merchant Bank recently recognised the efforts of all Petroleum management teams and state enterprises teams within the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries by delivering a batch of hand sanitisers to ministry representatives.
Permanent Secretary Penelope Bradshaw Niles noted that the ministry’s petroleum inspectors have been on the frontline providing an essential service to the nation during the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, she said the hand sanitisers will go a long way in supporting their necessary interaction with all energy stakeholders. She also thanked the bank for the gesture.
ANSA Merchant Bank managing director Gregory Hill said the bank was pleased to provide a measure of hygienic protection to the ministry and all citizens whose jobs entail public interaction. “We remain committed to supporting the health and safety of all citizens during this uncertain time of the pandemic as part of our corporate social responsibility, in addition to providing unique solutions to all our clients and stakeholders to alleviate the financial fall-out of the pandemic.”
The hand sanitiser is manufactured by Carib Brewery and has been distributed by the ANSA McAL Group during the pandemic period.
