The Anjuman Sunnatul Jamaat Association (ASJA) says it is deeply saddened about the devastating earthquake that recently struck Morocco, causing significant loss of life and widespread destruction. In a statement ASJA said its thoughts and prayers go out to the people, especially those who lost their loved ones, as they grapple to put their lives back together after this tragic event.
“In difficult and challenging times like these, it is crucial for us to show our solidarity and support for those who are suffering. We have no doubt, as Believers, that they will overcome this tragedy with the Grace of Allah, with the same determination that is so characteristic of their history.”
ASJA said despite its limited resources, it would like to extend assistance in any way possible, whether it be through humanitarian aid, relief efforts, or any other means.
“Please know that we stand ready to collaborate with the Moroccan authorities and organizations to help alleviate the suffering of those affected by this earthquake. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is any specific way in which we can contribute to the relief and recovery efforts.”ASJA said it is committed to standing with Morocco and its people as they rebuild their communities and recover from the impact of this disaster.
