After almost seven months on suspension, attorney Jason Jackson could resume practising law in T&T.
In a High Court order dated July 2, Justice Betsy-Ann Lambert Peterson ordered that Jackson be readmitted as an attorney.
The south-based attorney had been suspended last November after he failed to comply with an order by the disciplinary committee of the Law Association.
This stemmed from a complaint against him by a former client.
A notice in the Gazette stated that Jackson, Kweku Wilson, Winston Hyatali and Kathy-Ann Mottley, were suspended from practising law because of their failure or refusal to comply in whole or in part with the disciplinary committee orders.
However, Jackson subsequently complied with the order and applied to the High Court to be readmitted as an attorney.
