Shas­tri Boodan

Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the dis­cov­ery of a body this morn­ing in Cunu­pia. Ac­cord­ing to po­lice sources, the body of 38-year-old scrap iron deal­er Ke­shan Jun­groo was found around 6 a.m. on the side of the road­way near a bridge on Jonathan Street. The vic­tim was re­port­ed­ly stabbed.

Vil­lagers who knew Jun­groo sug­gest­ed he may have been robbed of a sum of cash by some­one fa­mil­iar to him.

The po­lice are con­tin­u­ing their in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to the cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing the in­ci­dent.
