Condolences continue to pour in from corporate entities—BPTT and AMCHAM T&T—over the deaths of two cyclists on the Beetham early Saturday morning. BPTT lost one of its employees—Joanna Banks—in the tragic accident.

A release from the company said, "BPTT is shocked and saddened by the tragic passing of Joanna Banks, one of our employees who died in a vehicular accident this morning that occurred on the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway.

"It has been reported that the employee was riding with a cycling group on the eastbound lane in the vicinity of Beetham Gardens when a vehicle hit the group.

"Our priority at this time is to support the family of the deceased and our employees. It is a very sad day for the BPTT family and our thoughts and prayers are with all those involved and their families."
