Po­lice of­fi­cers are look­ing for the sus­pect in a shoot­ing in which a busi­ness­man was shot and wound­ed at Long Cir­cu­lar Mall in St James on Thurs­day.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, at about 12:22 pm a gun­man alight­ed an suv which was parked in the carpark near load­ing bay of the Mall and opened fire on mall ten­ant iden­ti­fied as Michael St John. St John is the own­er and man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of D'Di­al Fit­ness Club.

The gun­man re­turned to the SUV and drove off.

St John, who was shot sev­er­al times was tak­en to the hos­pi­tal where he was treat­ed and ward­ed in a sta­ble con­di­tion.
