An anti-crime operation conducted in the Morvant district yesterday resulted in the seizure of a quantity of cannabis.
Between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on December 26, officers from the Morvant CID searched an area along Pitch Road, Morvant. During the search, they discovered a black plastic bag containing eight clear plastic packages, each filled with cannabis. The substance weighed 443 grams, with an estimated street value of TT$13,290.
The operation was led by Acting Senior Superintendent Edwards, Superintendent Birch, and Acting Assistant Superintendent Callender. It was coordinated by Acting Inspector Ramsingh and Sergeant Maynard.
Supervision was provided by Corporal Daniel and W/Acting Corporal Cooper, supported by members of the Morvant CID, Morvant Charge Room, and the NED Task Force.
