Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice, Er­la Christo­pher, has launched an in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to a video cur­rent­ly cir­cu­lat­ing on so­cial me­dia, that al­leged­ly shows a fa­tal po­lice shoot­ing. 

A TTPS me­dia re­lease stat­ed, "Com­mis­sion­er Christo­pher has or­dered an im­me­di­ate in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to the mat­ter and awaits the find­ings of the in­ves­tiga­tive team." 

The al­leged in­ci­dent oc­curred in the South­ern Di­vi­sion ear­li­er to­day. Fur­ther up­dates will be shared with the pub­lic as more in­for­ma­tion be­comes avail­able.
