Or­lan­do Po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing a dead­ly shoot­ing that took place over the week­end at a venue where one of T&Ts dance­hall/zess­er artiste Prince Swan­ny (Swan Dan) per­formed at.

Prince Swan­ny, birth name Taryll Swan, is cur­rent­ly on tour ‘Bad & Clean’ in the Unit­ed States and on Sat­ur­day night per­formed at the Ma­jes­tic Event Cen­tre at John Young Park­way, Or­lan­do, Flori­da. The event was pre­sent­ed by ‘When Shot­taz In­volve En­ter­tain­ment’ from 9 pm to 3 am (Sun­day).

Ac­cord­ing to me­dia re­ports, the Or­lan­do Sen­tinel, a man died af­ter a shoot­ing in the park­ing lot at the Club Ma­jes­tic night­club in Or­lan­do.

The shoot­ing al­leged­ly oc­curred just be­fore 3:15 am where the vic­tim, who has not yet been named, was tak­en to the Or­lan­do Re­gion­al Med­ical Cen­ter, where he was pro­nounced dead.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port, Lt. J. Dar­ren Dil­lon of the Or­lan­do Po­lice De­part­ment said in a press re­lease that “of­fi­cials are still in­ves­ti­gat­ing and will pro­vide fur­ther de­tails.

In an­oth­er re­port, in a WESH ar­ti­cle, it stat­ed that some peo­ple who at­tend­ed Sat­ur­day night’s event told them that there was some sort of mu­si­cal show and par­ty in­side.

“Post­ed out­side the gates are fly­ers show­ing a Caribbean mu­si­cal artist…One per­son we spoke with off-cam­era said he and his friends were stuck in­side the venue for a mo­ment when the shoot­ing hap­pened. It’s un­clear how many peo­ple at­tend­ed the event and how many were still there when gun­fire erupt­ed,” the WESH re­port stat­ed.

Hours af­ter the event, Prince Swan­ny took to So­cial Me­dia where he post­ed: “Alyuh is char­ac­ters wi (sic)…Ran­dom sit­u­a­tions got nun 2 do with u or me … Ya Dig.”

How­ev­er, Swan­ny’s man­age­ment team in speak­ing with the Guardian Me­dia con­firmed that Prince Swan­ny was not harmed but added that they on­ly al­leged­ly heard about the shoot­ing the next day.

“I was tru­ly sad­dened to hear about the in­ci­dent that oc­curred out­side of Club Ma­jes­tic. Our thoughts and prayers are with the fam­i­ly of the in­di­vid­ual whose life was lost,” Swan­ny’s man­age­ment said.

“We do not con­done vi­o­lence and it hurts my spir­it when an evening that was sup­posed to be about lis­ten­ing to mu­sic and en­joy­ing a show ends in tragedy,” the man­age­ment added.
