The Division of Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development says it raised the issue of “equity in resource allocation” during a meeting with Agriculture Minister Ravi Ratiram last Friday.
A release from the division said the conversation focused on areas for national collaboration, equity in resource allocation, and strengthening technical partnerships “to support Tobago’s agricultural, fisheries and natural resources sectors.”
The minister met with the secretary, assistant secretary, administrator, and key staff during a courtesy visit to the division’s head office.
The division described the talks as “strategic discussions.”
“The division gave Ravi Ratiram, Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, a warm Tobago welcome,” the release said.
“The division looks forward to continued collaboration and deepened partnership with our national counterpart as we work collectively toward a resilient, food-secure Trinidad and Tobago.”
