Min­is­ter of En­er­gy and En­er­gy In­dus­tries and Min­is­ter in the Of­fice of the Prime Min­is­ter, Stu­art R. Young MP, had an op­por­tu­ni­ty for a farewell meet­ing with out­go­ing Re­gion­al Pres­i­dent of bp Trinidad and To­ba­go, Claire Fitz­patrick, ear­li­er this week.

A re­lease from the Min­istry re­ports that the meet­ing al­so served as a wel­come and in­tro­duc­tion to the new Coun­try Head for bpTT, David Camp­bell.

The meet­ing took place at the Min­istry’s of­fices at the In­ter­na­tion­al Wa­ter­front Com­plex, on Wednes­day 21 Sep­tem­ber 2022.

Dur­ing the meet­ing be­tween the min­is­ter and the bpTT ex­ec­u­tives, Min­is­ter Young thanked the out­go­ing Pres­i­dent for her con­tin­ued sup­port, while she con­veyed her re­spects and ap­pre­ci­a­tion to the en­er­gy min­is­ter.

Mrs. Claire Fitz­patrick held the po­si­tion of Re­gion­al Pres­i­dent of bpTT since May 2018.  She moves on to a new lead­er­ship role in Lon­don.

Dur­ing her tenure at bpTT, Mrs. Fitz­patrick worked and en­gaged on var­i­ous key projects with the Min­istry of En­er­gy and En­er­gy In­dus­tries, in­clud­ing the Re­struc­tur­ing of At­lantic LNG.

Min­is­ter Young ex­pressed his en­thu­si­asm for be­gin­ning work with in­com­ing bpTT pres­i­dent, David Camp­bell, on on­go­ing and fu­ture projects.  Mr Camp­bell has been with bp for 38 years and has held lead­er­ship roles in com­mer­cial, op­er­a­tional and tech­ni­cal fields.
