The In­land Rev­enue Di­vi­sion (IRD) is ad­vis­ing that a tem­po­rary e-Tax log-in so­lu­tion is be­ing of­fered to tax­pay­ers, and is avail­able at https://etax.ird.gov.tt

An of­fi­cial state­ment from the Di­vi­sion and signed by the Com­mis­sion­er of In­land Rev­enue and Chair­man of the Board, ex­plains that this e-Tax log-in so­lu­tion was cre­at­ed to fa­cil­i­tate tax­pay­ers en­rolled in IRD’s Logged-In e-Tax Ser­vices, and who are un­able to log in at this time via the ttCon­nect por­tal at www.ttcon­nect.gov.tt

The ttCon­nect por­tal cur­rent­ly is un­avail­able.

The IRD says tax­pay­ers will need to en­ter their ttCon­nect ID, BIR num­ber and e-Tax pass­word to ac­cess the Logged-in Ser­vices.

Once val­i­dat­ed, the Di­vi­sion says, an au­tho­ri­sa­tion code will be for­ward­ed to their email ad­dress on file to com­plete the log in process.

For fur­ther in­for­ma­tion, the pub­lic is en­cour­aged to con­tact the IRD’s Call Cen­tre, toll free, at 800-TAXX (8299), and se­lect op­tion 1.  Call Cen­tre agents will be avail­able on Sat­ur­day 30 and Sun­day 31 Ju­ly 2022, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, to sup­port tax­pay­ers who may re­quire as­sis­tance.
